the location was simply amazin with stunning views. our king room with mountain view was really spacious and had a great vibe. breakfast was a solid 10/10, lots of options including fresh cooked meals. the staff were mostly nice and always ready to help us. sunday roast was also pretty good value for money.

but we had a bit of a hassle getting the room we booked n it was super hot at night, a fan wasn't enough to cool things down. also, wi-fi inside our room was almost non-existent.

The menu for dinner felt somewhat limited, and I would have preferred more variety to choose from. the charming surroundings and friendly service outweighed the issues, but some aspects could use a little work.

the iazak walton offered a lovely stay with a fresh breakfast that included toast, cereal, and juice. the evening meals were fantastic, whether at the bar or in the restaurant. the location is stunning, right by the intriguing hills and a short walk to the river. the comfy lounges added to our relaxation.

Our stay was highlighted by stunning views of Thorpe Cloud from the restaurant, perfect for a romantic evening. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel at home. A tip , request a table by the window for breathtaking scenery during your meal!

This place was just a prime choice for a quick stop in Ashbourne (Derbyshire) with value for price. The king size bed was really comfortable, and I appreciated having two easy chairs to take in the view. A tip for others, try to avoid large suitcases as there are a few stairs to navigate.

The TV in the room is shockingly small, making it tough to catch a good movie together. Charging phones poses a hassle due to the lack of plugs near the beds, and one socket hanging off the wall is definitely a safety concern. The bathroom had some quirks—no hot water at the sink and the shower took around five minutes to heat up, which is a bit frustrating. While the breakfast was fine, the pizzas served at dinner were quite bland, tasting more like dough than anything else. the dated decor left me feeling underwhelmed, and the overall experience felt mismatched with the price we paid.
